The product os ok at best. Use the wand and the machine tips over every time. I vacuum the carpet and it misses so much. I used my very old on its last leg cordless dyson and pulled tons of dirt and hair out of an already bissel vacuumed rug. For a vacuum company to not be a close comparison is interesting. .

Great Vacuums, good quality and long life of product. Dog hair is no match for these series of vacuums and replaceable filters are a must in Colorados high desert environment.

Bissell Vacuum
Too expensive. No comparison to my previous Bissells. Hose is WAY too short, tank is tiny and has to be emptied frequently and no edge cleaner. Don't need headlights, I don't vacuum in the dark. Would give up stupid lights for longer hose & bigger tank.

Don’t buy
Terrible Vaccum. Owned for just over a year and it started making loud noise. I checked for clogs, cleaned filters , took off roller bar . These are all the suggestions by Bissell to trouble shoot this. It continued loud noise and getting louder. Now it barely picks up anything. Waste of money ! So mad I have to buy another vacuum! It will not be a BISSELL ! Save your money , and get something else. In googling this issue , it seems to be a known issue for some time. Wished I’d seen reviews stating so before I bought it! UGH. Hope my review helps others.

This Vacuum has great suction. It is Effortless to dump out canister. Easy to replace parts and light enough to move around the house easily.

I wouldn't buy again. Prefer less complicated.
I use this product to vacuum a very "fluffy" house due to my 2 Maine Coon cats. They shed nonstop plus I have 3 litter boxes and as much as I try to get litter that they don't "drag" everywhere I buy what I can afford. I am in my 70's and this vacuum is a bit on the heavy side. Of course I've had to take it apart to clean it. For me, there are just too many parts to have to contend with every other week. I was hoping maybe for simpler?!

Conquered by pet hair
Conquers pet hair? Not quite. After a year of use, pet hair collected in the end of the beater roller. The thin plastic part of the beater that holds the beater in place melted from the friction (see picture). There is no apparent way to service this area before failure. Took a picture but it won't upload. Also, hair builds up in vacuum head on tile floor unless I run the beater to clear it.
