Sounds Like A Sick Cow

I think I got someone's return. The box had packing tape across it. I opened it & tried it. It is so loud, it sounds like a sick cow. My husband said it's cheaply made and something is wrong with the gears. It's going back. But the bigger question, before reselling, why wouldn't Macy's check why it was returned. Why resell a broken product?

Opens Cans Only When it Wants to

I bought this and tried to open a can with it. It didn't automatically latch onto the can and start to open it as the advertisement says. It is not obvious where exactly the can should be placed for it to start opening it. Sometimes it did but most of the time it didn't. Very frustrating and, as far as I'm concerned, this can opener is worthless.
