Great sound but technical problems.

Sound is very good. But I bought the speaker to pair with the SoundLink Flex Portable Speaker I already had. So far I have found them to be incompatible. The phone app does not work the the 2nd Gen either. Very disappointing.

I’m sorry the SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen didn’t pair with your original Soundlink Flex first gen and the app didn’t work as expected. The two generations use different apps, SoundLink Flex 1st Gen uses Bose Connect app while the 2nd Gen uses the Bose app, so they are not compatible for stereo or party pairing.
