DO NOT PURCHASE (E01) error
This is the second Braun Coffee Maker I have purchased, Model No. KF7170, and both units displayed the sane error message E01 after they stopped brewing. I followed the instructions for proper maintenance and cleaning when the CLEAN message was displayed, and both units stopped working earlier than expected. The first machine lasted longer than the second unit. The second unit stopped working only after a year and a half after purchase.

Did not last 2 months
Would give zero stars if possible. Had this for less than 2 months and it won't brew. Have done every troubleshooting item possible, nothing. For the price it should last a lot longer

Great Value
This coffee maker makes great coffee and is reasonably priced. It doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary frills. It doesn’t even beep when the coffee is completely brewed! But the coffee is good and stays hot. My only complaint is that it periodically releases steam after brewing as if the unit needs to be cleaned of calcium buildup although the machine is new.

Brewsense is nuisance
Within a month the warming tray started rusting, bubbling and lifting. I covered this with heat resistant silicone pad (I hate returning and causing waste). Now a year later the heating element shuts off randomly so our coffee gets cold immediately after brewing. I have so many brain products from the 1980s that last. Sadly it's just become another junky lifestyle brand interested in SKUs over quality.

Last Braun coffee maker I bought lasted me 20 years probably would still be working got destroyed when moving , the one I bought in May works great

Terrible clogging, even w/meticulous maintenance
I bought this coffee maker two times in the past 4 years and have maintained it impeccably cleaning it with the recommended de-scaler as soon as I was notified to do so by the machine, I changed the coffee filter every 2 months & was meticulous about cleaning it between uses - that said, it became clogged and overflowed the last 2 times I used it before I threw it away! I will never buy one of your products again!
