A step up from my Norelco

I needed to replace a Norelco I've had for a 8 or 10 years. Never had a foil shaver, so decided to check out the Braun. It's been 2 weeks and I've been very happy with it. I can't say it's a closer shave than my old one, but it's more comfortable to use. Cleaning the old one was a pain, so I'm quite pleased with the cleaning station the Braun came with. Hopefully I get 8 or 10 years out of this one.

Made it 8 months

Quality started out like a Canon ball! Was pretty amazing at first then it just fell flat. Just made it 8 months then it just stopped working. I definitely expected more for the Braun name and price tag

Didn't even make it 3 months.

The shave was very comfortable, but eventually it just stopped turning on. It won't charge, it won't do anything, it's just broken. I definitely won't be buying braun products anymore. Their quality is definitely no longer there.

Decent shaver

I can't tell much of a difference compared to my braun series 3 shaver. One thing the series 3 did better was the precision trimmer. The series 3 the trimmer has about 6 more teeth and it makes trimming easier. With that being said i am a little disappointed in the size of the trimmer on the series 5 but other then that it is a decent shaver.

provides an excellent shave

I have been using the Braun Series 5 shaver for the past 6 months.Up until that time I had been a lifelong user of the double-edge safety razor. I wondered if switching to an electric shaver would provide as satisfying a shave. This shaver provides an excellent shave. It took me and my beard about 3 weeks of use to become accustomed to an electric shaver. The shave is close and the trimmer is very handy for side burns and mustache trimming. The shaver is comfortable in my hand. I use the cleaning station regularly and it also keeps my shaver charged. I am very satisfied with the quality.

Good product - should include travel case

Shaver works well as it should for the price. Good feel and easy on the face. Disappointed that it did not come with a travel case.

Best Electric Shaver I've Ever Owned
