An Adventure in Exotic Coffee Preparations

This machine may have been the most frivolous purchase I have made in 20 years; and I couldn’t be happier. I wanted a machine with as many automatic features as I could find in this machine’s price range. I wasn’t willing to undertake a machine with a large learning curve. I adore the automatic features of this machine. More importantly I love the coffee brew I get no matter what choice I make on the touch screen. I also like the option to create my own brew and save it as a future choice. Simply put I am having a blast with this machine. My only disappointment is my utter failure in mastering latte art. The taste of what I brew is spectacular; the look of it not so much. I waxed so positive about this machine my daughter purchased a different Breville model as a Christmas gift for her husband.

Order arrived damaged

Do not buy from Macys. Machine arrived flipped in a large macy's box. Original box was completely open and it looks like the machine is not even new.

Great choice for a home system

Enjoying the new machine thus far. It is my 4th Breville as I had a number of set-ups over the decades. I love how this one allow you to adjust and have a stable result every morning...for my 5h30AM coffee. I have not tried the milk frother as we have a great one separate already. Great adjustability should help most.

For the people who love to make their own coffees at home. It has a lot of great options but takes a while to get used to. It’s also not that quick but if you have the time in the morning, it’s great!
