Repeat buyer

We order this to replace one just like it. The previous one lasted 8 years with daily use. It's a workhorse and it has a lot of adjustments to get the exact grind we want.

Great purchase

I am not regretting this purchase. The noise is minimal and once I tried a few brews with different grind settings I managed to dial it in to my preference and now the coffee is not as bitter as it was but full of flavor. Easy to clean and no coffee left behind in the grinder (I weighed the beans and the ground coffee and it was always consistent and same weight). Now I'll have to buy a new brewery in order to have a consistent cup of Joe every morning. I wonder where I'm gonna buy the brewer lol 😉

Great Grinder

Variety of grinds, variety of cups, easy to refill, easy to clean. Great unit. Coupled with the Breville drip coffee maker, a fantastic improvement in my morning cup of coffee.

Inconsistent Grind

I purchased the Smart Grinder Pro April 2023 along with a Dual Boiler. I use the Smart Grinder Pro as a single dose machine and generally use around 80gms of coffee beans per day (4x20gms). I weigh the bean dose and weigh the output, then weigh the shot. When the grinder is near to the end of grinding the dose, I give it a gentle rock to help eliminate retention. However I have found of late that the grind has become quite inconsistent, from one dose to the other, and also the adjustability is also not really fine enough. If you are coffee aficianado, I would suggest you spend a little more on a more specialised product to avoid disappointment and frustration.

Poor quality from my point of view

i have used this grinder less than 18 months and had to repair it once. Now it is broken again; just spins but no grinding. It is very tedious to disassemble and repair. I will never buy it or any there Breville small appliance again
