Attractive with good features
I bought this to replace a Breville tea maker which we had for many years, using it multiple times a day. This unit is an improvement with a good variety of tea settings—white, green, black etc. it is an attractive appliance worthy of being left out on the counter.

Breville Kettle
I got this electric kettle because of the aesthetic, it does clean up very easily- 1 part vinegar, 2 parts water.

Looks good but handling could be improved.
Looks good and boils water fast. But it’s harder to clean because the lid cannot be removed to reach in, and the outside cannot get wet. Also taller than a stovetop kettle so have to hold the kettle higher over the cup when pouring.

It enhances the flavors
I never knew how much the temperature of the water brings out the flavor of the tea. I tried this product and I could taste all the flavors of my herbal teas.

Lid won't open anymore
The lid doesn't open anymore after a couple of years of normal use...this is such a disappointment. We like everything else about this kettle.

Not for long time use
It’s been almost 2 years and it looks like 10 years old. Bottom of inside the kette looks worn. It doesn’t feel like safe to use anymore. Also the handle has faded. Paying more but quality is still low.
