Rhapsody 19" Tote

Web ID: 19467426My New Favorite bag
Make no mistakes this bag is absolutely everything you would expect from Briggs and Riley. It sits on top of my hard case carry-on, and matches perfectly. The bag expands so all of the utility cases I carry for cords and medicine, etc. can sit at the bottom. Twice now, I thought I was going to have to check a bag, but I was able to get everything in this new tote. The other bonus is is that it fits great underneath the seat on the plane, and it’s got a cool pocket inside for a water bottle that I use for snacks. . So as usual, Briggs makes the best stuff!!

Gorgeous
This is a gorgeous piece of luggage. I’m in love with the size. It’s the perfect overnight bag or carryon. It’s both the right size for everything you need for an overnight trip and to fit under the seating front of you when flying. It fits a surprising amount of stuff and the interior pockets make it easy to keep organized. It only holds up to a 13” laptop, which means mine doesn’t fit. But it’s actually the perfect a lot for my iPad and kindle. And the base is large enough to even pack an additional pair of shoes! It’s very well made and there are a lot of fine details that were really thought out. I love the interlocking handle system, since I’ve always struggled with how to pack and take 2 wheeled suitcases. The wheels on this bag glide so smoothly, it moves like a dream. And with the Briggs & Riley quality and their lifetime guarantee I know this bag will last me a very long time.

Nice Overnight Bag
This is a very nice overnight bag. Perhaps a weekend bag if you are a minimalist. There are many pockets and compartments to organize your belongings. While this features a 13” laptop pocket, my laptop is too large, so I opted for my tablet instead. The side pocket did not fit my water bottle, but it does fit a cell phone just fine. I like the telescopic handle design on the outside for flat packing surface - I do have to fold clothing in a rectangle shape or roll it up to fit. The zippers meet with a place for a lock to secure your bag for travel. The outside zipper compartment is small, mainly for paperwork, a passport, perhaps a few cards. I unzipped the inner liner while exploring the features of the bag to find buttons and hardware converged with duct tape. I suppose that is to improve the integrity of the lining so that the hardware doesn’t poke through. This has smooth gliding wheels for 360° movement like butter, even on an uneven brick sidewalk. This seems to be a very sturdy design, able to withstand the outdoor elements and see you through many trips. *see photos for what I was able to fit inside this bag. If you travel by air, this fits under the seat or overhead bin for most airlines. There is an interlocking handle system to easily stack with other Briggs & Riley luggage. The best feature is a lifetime guarantee if your bag is damaged, yay free repairs! Each bag has its own unique registration to match materials should you ever need repair.

Nice but needs a tweak
Love this bag. Just who’s it was a half an inch wider to fit my laptop better. Often times I have to put it in vertically and the. It’s hard to zip. Love the integrated handle. Finally got it to work right

Perfect weekend getaway bag
Briggs & Riley describes their new Rhapsody Wheeled Cabin Bag as "ideal for those quick overnight trips". They designed the bag to have "maximum space in a compact size with an easy-access interior that is equipped with dedicated pockets for your laptop, phone, shoes, a change of clothes, and other small essentials". One of my favorite features of the bag are the pockets. They are good sized and there are a lot of them. The front has a zippered pocket for easy access and there is an expandable side pocket that will hold a water bottle. The interior has several mini pockets and two gusseted elastic pockets. The interior also has a padded sleeve that will hold to a 13" laptop, and extra space for charging cords. I was able to pack a full-size iPad and iPad mini together comfortably. There is an orange-lined RFID security shielding pocket to keep travel documents, credit cards, and personal data protected. As far as function, the base wheels roll like a dream. The bag has telescope-handles that were easy to raise and lower quickly and the top handles are full-grain leather. This cabin bag is designed to stack on top of other, larger wheeled luggage pieces and it can also hold smaller luggage on top if using it as your base. It has an interlocking twist handle on the back connected by hidden bungee-style cords. This twist handle is easy to lift, twist, and lock securely into place over another telescoping handle - although I have read complaints that when used frequently the cords can loosen up a bit. I actually used the Cabin Bag as my overnight roller bag with a Briggs & Riley ZDX Cabin Bag on top, and that was quite easy to stack and move about. The main feature of the bag ended up being my least favorite feature. It was created for "flat packing" with a specially designed exterior handle that allows wrinkle-free packing on the interior. As such, the top of the bag zips down and folds over the front so you can "top load" your folded items. This means you're packing from the bottom of the bag to the top of the bag, however, instead of the traditional method of lying the bag down on its back side and stacking your clothes from the back to the front. I prefer the back side-to-front side method because it allows me to fold my clothing into larger pieces and not have to dig to the bottom when I need an item. With this deep-pack design clothing has to be packed carefully in the order of use or you will be constantly digging to the bottom looking for items. I also favor lying my bag down on the bed when packing it rather than filling a "standing up" bag, but that is a personal preference. I have not flown with the bag yet but the size was designed to fit under most airplane seats. After reading reviews online, this seems to be an issue for some so make sure to check the exterior 16 x 14 x 8.5 inch measurements before planning to fly if that is your intent. Size-wise it is absolutely perfect as a weekend getaway bag. It looks very stylish, the size is great, and it's very easy to maneuver - even on carpet.
