Great until the wheels fell off

This suitcase is the perfect size for longer trips where other medium suitcases are just a little too small. It worked well for 1-½ years until a wheel came off during a 3 week trip to Europe. We screwed it back on but it didn't stay on. There were no B&R locations in the countries we visited so we were planning to make do on 3 wheels until we returned home. Then a second wheel came off. Now the suitcase was almost unrollable so we had to take time from our vacation to locate a local repair place, Uber the suitcase there and make a second trip to pick it up the next day. Luckily we were in a city where repair shops existed. I expected more from Briggs & Riley, it can't be that hard to attach the wheels better.

Travel in style

I ordered this suitcase as an alternative to the Tumi ones I have been using for several years and I regret not changing earlier as this one is much easier to use having just flown with me to Scotland. Rough terrain is much easier to travel over and I prefer the way it compresses your packed clothes and the way it expands. Over time I will replace my other suitcases too.

I purchased my fourth piece of luggage and my first checked piece for my holiday travels. It matches my other three pieces along with my three backpacks. You might say I’m a fan of the quality. My only change would be different zipper handles. I found them hard to grip and zip

Amazing Suitcase

I have one just like this and love it so much, I got one for my husband too. It wheels so smoothly and is very lightweight but durable. The expansion system is also a great feature.

Excellent

The expansion/ compression is a game changer. Makes packing such a pleasure. As a previous review stated the expansion does collapse as it is meant to do. The suitcase is not designed to stay expanded. It's designed to compress for travel.

No other Bag needed

Ok but could improve in some features

I love the idea of it being expandable but it’s only expandable in theory… it doesn’t quite translate to reality. The expandable part (pulling up on the red tabs) opens and expands the bag but they don’t stay expanded. They close back up every time the weight of the side is folded together to zip, the expanded part collapses. Really frustrating. I would hope that unless pulling or pushing on the red tabs the expandable part of the suitcase would have stayed in place.
