Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the ginkgo Biloba or "Butterfly ginkgo" which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant.

Absolutely stunning

Absolutely love this vase. So beautiful, it coordinates with other Aram pieces. But the most stunning thing is that it preserves flowers better than glass vases! I bought a dozen roses, put some in glass and some in this, and the ones in this vase have lasted over a week while the others I threw out. The picture is of one week old roses.
