Unsanitary stuck water in the rim of the lids

Lid contains water
Hey i bought this item in two sizes and simply loving it. Normally im a very big fan of Calphalon. But lately i just found out that the lid contains my washing water and it seems very unhygienic to me.Only if you let me know the solution please im attaching the picture so you all can see and refer how i get rid of that water

Handy Sized
Very nice saucepan and just the size I was looking for. Seems to be well made. The price was right. I DO NOT LIKE that it was made in China. Calphalon is going to have to change that.

Exceptional Product
I've always wanted to have a set of Calphalon product but didn't have the money to get it then. I am a kitchen junkie and so I have to have this one to form part of the set I bought prior to buying this. It is a good product, no problem with it so far.
Perfect little saucepan
I needed a small saucepan for everyday use. I have a larger 2 1/2 quart Calphalon Contemporary saucepan and know the quality of these pieces. They are a good weight and thickness and the non-stick coating is superior to some other brands. I have a variety of cookware, - enameled cast iron, tri-ply stainless, anodized and anodized non-stick. I like a variety because each one is good for certain tasks. The Calphalon Contemporary handles are comfortable and don't get hot when using the cookware and the glass lid gives you a good visual of the contents. The only negative for me is the shape of the saucepan, which flares out at the top (it is a contemporary design). Since I purchased the saucepan at a very good price/discount, this more than makes up for it.
Perfect Size
This is the perfect size pot when it's just the two of you your cooking for. Easy to handle and having a lid helps out. If I had one complaint it would be the cost. Other then that it's a Great pot.

Perfect size
We got a set of Simple Calphalon pots and saute pans, but I wanted a 1.5 qt size and ordered this one. It's not exactly the same as the set I got but close enough and I've used it many times already.
