I have multiple pieces from the Calphalon Contemporary Stainless Steel and Nonstick Collection including this square griddle. The stainless steel are great, the nonstick is junk. I'm experiencing the same problems that other consumers have with the nonstick surface coming off. I have been very careful with my pieces and use tools made for nonstick pans (not metal). Has this product ever been recalled? Certainly not the quality I would expect from the Calphalon brand at the price of the product.

Excellent buy!!
Why ohhhh why did I wait so long to buy one on these?? It is the best investment kitchen wise I've ever made, breakfast is so fast and easy!! Pancakes on one side, eggs on the other, ready in 5 minutes!!!!

Love this Griddle
Very nice and sturdy. Perfect for pancakes, french toast, grilled cheese, bacon, and eggs.
Great pan for breakfast making
I needed a pan that I could easily whip out and make pancakes. This cooks them evenly each time. Easy to clean after too

Pancakes
Making pancakes once a week! Perfect size grill and easy to flip the pancakes!
Just meh.
After 20 years, my old Calphalon Griddle needed to be replaced. I was so excited to find the same model at macys.com. I was super disappointed when I removed the griddle from the package ... it is not the same quality as the older model. I did get the product on sale so I will likely keep it and hope the performance is acceptable.

Deteriorated after 13 months of use
After 13 months of use, the nonstick coating is completely removed from the center. I don't want to contemplate how much of the coating me and my family swallowed. Better to go with a ceramic stone nonstick coating instead, or even cast iron, then to use brands like this.
