Great saute feature, sturdy build, easy to use 4 s

Okay, so I snagged the Calphalon digital slow cooker, and I have to say, I’m loving it so far. The saute feature is awesome, I can sear my chicken or beef right in there before letting it slow cook.The digital controls are super simple to figure out, and it feels sturdy on my counter. Cooks everything nice and even, plus the nonstick coating makes cleanup a cinch. My only little gripe? The manual’s kinda vague, could use more tips. Still, it’s a total win for my kitchen, and I’d give it 4 stars for sure.

Fantastic features

I have cooked bbq ribs twice and they come out great. Clean up is a breeze. The timer is so easy getting to longer cook times. Want to try breads next.

Excellent Slow Cooker

I bought this slow cooker a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it. The capability to sear meats before adding other ingredients to slow cook is extremely convenient. It's easy to use, easy to clean, very light weight, and everything I've cooked in it has turned out great. I would LOVE it if Calphalon made a larger capacity cooker like this one. Until then I'm buying another mostly to get the extra capacity when I need it by using two. Please Calphalon, make a larger capacity model. ;-)

So easy!

I’ve had this now for well over. Year and I absolutely LOVE it. I love that I can use the insert on the stove top and then go right into the slow cooker part. My one issue is a little screw on the side came out and it’s nearly impossible to get back in but luckily it doesn’t impact the way the slow cooker works so it doesn’t really matter.
