Rack does not fit this roaster

I purchased this roaster to replace our previous roaster. The rack itself does not fit well and moves excessively. I roasted a 22 pound turkey and when removing the roaster for the oven the rack slid to the side shifting the weight of the turkey to the side. While I was able to save the turkey, I'm returning this roaster. Poor design of the roasting rack could have caused a kitchen disaster.

Nice and light.

I had a Calphalon roaster that was too heavy to lift in and out of oven with a 20+ lb. turkey in it. This roaster is much lighter. I like the placement of the handles also.

Premier Roaster 16"

Pros: Excellent size for big turkeys and roasts Great handles for gripping It wasn't too heavy and easily managed Cons: The interior finish had an unusual texture I had to wipe the rack vigorously to get it Clean but everything did come off The pan was not what you call nonstick, I had to put about 1-2 inches of water in The pan and scrape it hard to get the Grease buildup off. It did come clean though without any residue The non stick description is very misleading. I don't know if I would recommend it

Calphalon Premier Rocks!

It's a Calphalon Premier so you know it's the best. The quality is superior. Non-stick stainless steel utensil safe although the only utensil that might touch the bottom of this is a ladle to spoon broth out. I wish it came with the stainless steel injector and lifters like the lesser Contemporary and tri-ply models. I recommend everything Calphalon Premier and this is no exception.
