Nice Size. I love that this is wide and not tall, it fits well in my cabinets. I have a large family and needed a large pan for making chili, potatoes, corn on the cob, etc and wanted it to not take up so much cabinet space. This was the perfect solution and I love it!

Excellent multipurpose pot
Recently I replaced all of the teflon coated pots in my kitchen, and until I pulled them all out, didn't realize just how many pots were stacked away in the cabinet. I purchased this Dutch Oven, a sauce pot and a small omelet pan and haven't missed any of the many pots I donated. The Dutch Oven makes a large quantity of soup quickly - wide but shallow, it brings anything to a boil quickly. Also, the large surface area allows for quick sauteing veggies. Couldn't be more pleased and plan to pick one up for my mother. Definitely recommend.

Best product ever
This is my first purchase on the Calphalon Premier Space-Saving. The quality of the product is great and am very grateful to have purchased this piece. I will definitely be purchasing more of their pots in the future, with Macy's extra promotion discounts of course (bought this with my extra 30% discount). \

Great Staple
1. My mum in law made lovely traditional pulao in it, and it worked like a dream. Wide and deep enough a batch of pulao made with 2 curry piece cut chickens. 2. which may be first!, WASHES LIKE A DREAM 3. Lid lays flat and is good to go in the oven - this is great for stacking things to make a bit of steam pressure the old fashioned way, AND handy in the fridge. The lid is a little awkward, and I'm worried I will break or scratch it, but none so far!

Ugh
Received and looms lime it was returned before, had scratched bottom and 3 dents that came tthru as bubles on the inside, lid had dust and marking. Did not get to use, will return for replacement and see how it goes :-/
