Took three pans to get one that wasn’t defective
I ordered this smaller saucepan because only larger saucepans are included in the cookware set I purchased. With the first 1.5qt pan, the lid didn’t fit the pan as a previous reviewer noted. That pan was returned. The replacement pan arrived with the lid fitting the pan but the pan itself had deep scratches/gouges on two sides of the pan obviously from the factory. For several days Macys hesitated sending me another replacement because they said, and I quote, I “might get another defective pan.” After some discussion, a replacement pan was sent. The third pan arrived and seems ok. So it took me three pans to get one where the lid fit and the pan wasn’t damaged. These pans are not cheap and I seriously question the quality and integrity of Caphalon at this point. I would highly suggest that if someone is considering buying a set of cookware, look for another brand.

So far received two defective pans
First pan (reviewed under CharlotteAnn) the lid did not fit the pan. Macys sent a replacement. This time the lid fits but the pan itself is gouged / damaged on both sides of the pan. The box itself was not damaged in shipping and this is obviously a factory defect, again. And, hey Caphalon, you apologized for my awful Caphalon customer experience with my set of pans issue from my previous review and asked that I reach out so you could make it right. So I did. Three times. And I’ve heard nothing back.

I did not receive 1.5 quart sauce pan with lid. Attached is a picture of the packages delivered and also one of what is in the boxes.
Absolutely Love these!
I bought the small sauce pan as an add on for a set my husband purchased for me as a gift. I absolutely love these pans! Easy to clean, even when you burn something. Being able to stack these saves space in my drawers and lids are easy to see what’s cooking and line up nice in the dishwasher.

Not Stackable with Other Pans in Set
They advertise this pan as being “stackable”. However, this pan is 6.5” diameter and does not stack with any of the other pans in the premier space saving pan set. What is the point of calling this a stackable pan when there are no other pans in the set that it stacks with?

Durable, space-saving saucepan with excellent nons
