Great kettle

This kettle was selected as I was looking for something that would not show fingerprints. I use it at least twice daily, and it has been a great addition to my kitchen. Really enjoy it.

Rusted

For as expensive as this tea kettle was, I was very disappointed how quickly it rusted. I would not recommend this tea kettle.

Interior black surface flaking into water!

I bought this a few months ago for my wife. It worked great for a few months (we have a gas stove), until one day I poured water into a clear container and noticed many black flakes. Turns out the inside surface is degrading and leaving metallic sediment in our water. You can actually see the black metallic residue coming off just by rubbing a white paper towel across the inside surface (see photo). I wonder how long this has been happening before we noticed? Very disappointed - we have other Calphalon products that have held-up well, so we're surprised that this one has not. We have returned to our old (less pretty) kettle, which does not have this issue.

It's A Tea Kettle People!

I've had this tea kettle for about a month now. This product works well, not rusting, not too loud but loud enough. No complaints here, drink up!!

The Best Tea Kettle

I absolutely love this brushed stainless steel tea kettle. It is well designed and attractive. The whistleblower is loud and clear even if you are in the next room which is a safety feature. You could pour the hot water holding onto the handle with one hand and it does not spill. As it is stainless steel, you could also clean it easily. I like it so much that this is the second time that I bought it after reviewing what is available in the market now.
