Heat Protection Falls Short

These oven mitts look nice, but they don’t serve their main purpose — protecting hands from heat. The heat comes through quickly, which makes them unsafe and ineffective for handling hot pans or baking trays. Unfortunately, style doesn’t make up for a lack of function here.
