Confused

This lovely little pot is advertised as being suitable for all methods, including induction. So I was so happy to be able to replace my too heavy Le Creuset 2-quart pot. I lovingly unwrapped and washed it and anticipated making soup. I filled it with stock, placed it on the induction cooktop to heat. I turned away briefly to clear my workspace when the cooktop starts beeping and displaying the “pot” message, indicating the vessel was unsuitable for induction cooking. A magnet sticks to the bottom. So perhaps you can understand my being perplexed as to why this pot doesn’t work. Caraway sent me a label to return it but I’m still not understanding why this pot cannot be used for induction cooking. All my other pots do.
