Poorly balanced but looks good while it wobbles.

Fan looks great but is VERY unbalanced when paired with a 72" down rod. They send you a standard balancing kit but the blades are too thick to slide the plastic balancer onto and they don't provide good balancing directions so it's pretty much a guessing game. A little upsetting because of the price and if it didn't at-least look good it would get one star.

Awesome fan!

Wow. This fan is great. I looked for quite a while to find a gold/walnut combination fan that would look great in our living room. The brushed gold matches exactly with Pottery Barn's tumbled brass finish (which we have used throughout). The blades are surprisingly lightweight for a 66" fan and the remote offers a lot of features. We really like the breeze option. I did add a 36" downrod to get the fan lined up with our tray ceiling. The included downrod is only about 6-8 inches.
