Packing was weird , plates ok.

I just received these. I bought them to match my beautiful mugs that I adore. They are small, desert plates, not side salad sized. A little disappointed in the size but ok. What threw me was the insane packing! It took me 20 minutes to unearth these things. No original box like the mugs.. It arrived like it was from eBay packed from 1960 in someone's basement - every plate wrapped tightly with bubble wrap, then wound with packing tape and surrounded by ancient Styrofoam that crumbled into deteriorating balls as I had to chip it away, it was also wound completely with packing tape, and then cardboard - in another layer of clear packing tape. No words, no box or insert or anything. The way they came is really weird, but they are safe and in one piece and cute. I will be finding pieces of Styrofoam for ages.
