Beautiful but sheds horribly

I purchased four twin blankets to cover my leather couches and after one week I removed them to wash and when I shook them out there was lint everywhere, as the underside was shredding. I buy all my blankets from Macys because they have always been excellent quality. I may have to return these ones.

Do not buy

The amount of lint it sheds is just enough to destroy rest of your clothes that you wash with it. Cheapest material. I’m just trashing it because the return deadline is over. I had not used and washed this blanket until 2months after I bought.

I've never felt a blanket so soft and silky and luxurious. This blanket, what is on the thinner side, that's great because I can use it in the summer too. I haven't washed it yet so hoping it washes well.
