Wowww!! LONG LASTING
Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif has got to be up there with the strongest & longest lasting colognes i’ve had the pleasure of wearing. It may be a bit too strong for someone who may have a sensitivity to strong scents, but I LOVE IT! The sandalwood and citrus notes are perfectly blended and smells amazing for any age but preferably males over 30 (in my opinion). Cool story: I received this at no cost to me from BzzAgent. Upon arrival I opened it & just gave it a quick primer pump in the air to get an idea of what this colognes smelled like. Threw my hands in the air to disperse the scent and took it in. It smelled GREAT!! Mind you, this was in my bedroom. Like 30 min or so later I was in my living room watching a movie and i kept getting a sudden smell of the cologne. I kept wondering if it had made its way through the hall and into the living room. I was so confused but I kept smelling it. Turns out it was on my hands from just that ONE pump, trying to disperse it in the air. Its STRONG!

A nice gentleman scent, very far from the original
The newest release from Chanel is an interesting take. This line has been one of the best sellers since 2009 when it was launched. Now this version of the Fragrance is the least smelling of the BDC DNA out of all of the line. You don’t really get the citrus that you get from the other ones and the added leather nuance is very subtle, but is there especially once you get to the dry down. Now it’s not a sharp strong leather it’s more of like a suede, soft undertone, but it does exist. This is closest to the parfum concentration, but without the citrus and more leather. I think this is a nice release. The cost of it is a little bit crazy. So if you’re looking to get a BDC my still pick would be to tell you to get the EDT, but if you want something, that is the most different in the line it would definitely be this version. I think this fragrance smells nice. It definitely belongs on an older gentleman. It is classy. I don’t think teenagers. Should use this one though.

Cologne
This is a fabulous cologne that is the perfect fragrance for all year round. I like to apply a couple sprays in the morning and then add on at night if I am going out. It has a great woody and fresh scent that lasts for a long time on skin and even longer on clothing.
Too potent for my preference
Full disclosure, I was gifted this bottle of BLEU DE CHANEL L'ECLUSIF as compliments of Chanel. The scent is truly one of a kind and not like anything else I have encountered before. However, the scent is very overpowering initially. One spray is more than enough to last all day and it should be sprayed in an open space. When sprayed in a small space, it can become very overbearing. Normally I appreciate predominant notes of sandalwood, but this was not what I was expecting. I became very self-conscious of the smell and was hoping it wasn't too potent, and my wife confirmed that it wasn't just me. With that being said, after a full day of work the scene is quite pleasant, though the first 2-4 hours are almost unbearable. If you're sensitive to strong aromas, I advise you take caution while applying. Overall, I am very appreciative that I was given this opportunity to try such an exquisite and elegant parfum, but this one just isn't for me. I am eager to see what other scents they offer
The most complex and resinous of the line
The newest in the Bleu de Chanel line, L'Exclusif is the most complex and likely most divisive fragrance to bear the name. Much denser and more intense than even the Parfum, I feel like at its heart the L'Exclusif veers toward its leathery heart, coupled with some very dark resins. I found it to be quite a bit more dark woods rather than the warmer and fresher woods that I got from the EDP and the Parfum. While the Bleu line has typically been seen as mass-market approachable, the L'Exclusif tiptoes the line between mass-market appeal and the more artsy niche market. Its complex, dense, dark, one might even go so far as to say a bit moody. Suitable for evenings where you want to put forth a more mysterious persona. Projection for the first few hours was quite good and I would say above average for the remainder of the wear. I get about 6-8 hours. Chanel was kind enough to provided this bottle of Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif in return for a written, honest review.
Masculine and Strong
I received the Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif for free from Chanel in exchange for writing the review. I don’t venture out much in trying new scents but I was excited to try this one. I usually wear cologne from a clothing store. The sandalwood, incense, and ambery notes are intense. It’s very masculine and is great for a night out. My other cologne is more of a day scent. My wife likes this new scent on me and I feel mysterious and sophisticated when I wear it. It’s perfect for the fall and winter. I would recommend it to my friends to wear when they go out on dates and I would definitely purchase this.
Refined Elegance in a Bottle
Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif Parfum is a masterclass in sophistication. From the moment it touches the skin, it opens with a smooth and balanced blend of citrus and aromatic woods, immediately setting itself apart from other flankers in the Bleu line. The scent is deeper and more refined than the original, with a velvety richness that feels both powerful and understated. The heart develops into warm sandalwood and amber notes, giving it an enveloping character that wears exceptionally well for formal evenings, business settings, or moments when you want to make a lasting impression. Its projection is elegant noticeable without being overpowering and the longevity is outstanding, easily lasting through a full day and into the evening. A sleek, weighty bottle that feels luxurious in the hand, reflecting the exclusivity of the fragrance itself. Overall, this parfum is perfect for someone seeking a timeless, versatile scent that communicates confidence a
