Bleeds color

The shirt is very nice fitting but it bleeds color when I hand washed it. I hope it’s only the first time.

Charter Club linen shirt, fits large.

I bought the aqua color, which is a very vibrant, pretty aqua. The shirts are running larger than usual, so I returned my medium and bought a petite medium instead. I am a size 6 and tried the small first, which fit everywhere but the chest. I am not that full figured, so the sizes are larger, but flatter, if that makes sense. I also like having pockets, but preferred the Charter Club linen from the past where they had button closed flaps on the pockets. It just looks more finished, something missing in todays tailoring perhaps? Still, the linen is soft and washed well in cold water and tumbled dry on low. If it shrank at all, it was minimum, but you could hang dry if cautious. Machine drying made it softer.

Tried this blouse in store, loved the blouse fit and color, but too small. Too nice to let this navy blue linen pass by.

Softens if you wash with soda and use vinegar

As someone said, this shirt is very stiff and starchy. I goggled and it said that if you wash with baking soda and use vinegar in the rinse, it does soften the linen. It did work! Google it.
