Plastic packaging damaged

This Item is a Christmas gift so haven’t used yet but surprised that this Macys sold/shipped in damaged packaging (wiring/piping poking out of plastic in corner). Hopefully the comforter isn’t damaged. Very disappointed. This is second time in a month that I had an issue with purchasing online from Macys.

Cozy Warm Winter Cover

The comforter is nicely packed in it's own plastic cover. When opened it starts to fluff up. There is no odor from the packaging. I put it in the dryer for 5 minutes as the instructions indicate, and out comes a beautifully fluffy cover. It is a slightly larger size cover than most standard comforters, which makes it perfect for our Queen bed. It is a nice thickness for colder days. It would be too much for a summer cover. I think it is a very good purchase, especially at Macy's discount day specials. I recommend it to anyone.
