Can't beat the price for the quality!

I've ordered similar chairs before for a breakfast bar/counter from other stores... they turned out to be wobbly/shaky and always needed re-tightening of the screws. I gave them away for free. I got these as a replacement set and they are designed/screwed in such a way that there is no wobble. The quality of the wood and screws match well so they don't back out. Solid as can be! The seat itself is very thick and sturdy wood, which adds a feel of premium quality. The overall finish is excellent, and does not look cheap in any way. Assembly was quite easy (but I do recommend a drill with screw head to tighten as the threads are long and have quite some resistance).

Great for the price I paid

I bought these when they were on sale, and they’re definitely a great deal. They weren’t too difficult to put together (even though I hate Alan wrenches), and took me about 45 minutes for both (mostly because my kids wanted to help). I ordered the black, and they look fantastic next to my new kitchen island with gray cabinets and a white countertop. My one and only complaint is about the legs. They’re square. I’m use to keeping my feet on the front bar which requires me to tuck my legs in between the legs on the stool. Well because the legs are square, they rub on my legs and kind of hurt. I’m sure I’ll get use to it, and maybe I’ll find a different way to sit so that it’s not a problem. This isn’t something I would’ve thought about when purchasing, and in the future I will look for rounded legs. They also come with little gripy circles that stick to the bottom of the legs. They’re great! My kids like to stand and kneel on the stools, and this keeps them from sliding all over. Overall, seem very sturdy and like they’ll last for a long time, they look fantastic, and they were a great price. I’m very happy with this purchase.
