Watch for rust

There is a design flaw in this kettle that encourages rust buildup at the point where the spout is attached to the body. I got my first kettle replaced and the second rusts in the same spot. Nice kettle otherwise.

Received this kettle 4 days ago. We used it 3 times. The plastic spout and the whistle are melting.

Total disappointment

The entire bottom of this navy blue tea kettle has turned white from the gas flame and the flame was NOT on too high. Customer service at Macys will not take the product back since it has been one year since purchase and I am unable to reach Circulon customer service for what is supposed to be a lifetime warranty. Total disappointment.
