Fantastic Boil or Steam

Bought this pot when the lid was all metal. Purchased a silicone (flexible) steam platform. Using this pot as a steamer, with the platform & the pot's lid turned so that the holes sit over the pouring lips, makes steaming easy & quick. For cooking or warming stew, soups or chili, it's perfect. Cleanup is fast & easy. After two years of almost daily use, the edges of the pour lips show wear & the nonstick finish shows wear where the lid sits, but it still functions beautifully.

We love this product because the straining capabilities of the lid makes cooking much easier and less messy! Also, I appreciate that the pan is deep that way there is no over flow of water or moisture when boiling pasta. We have been very impressed with our Circulon Straining saucepan. The pan was a gift from my parents when we moved in to our new apartment. So, being it was a gift was even more amazing!! =)
