I ordered the 12 inch skillet, i got a wok looking thing, my 10 inch skillet has double the cooking surface. I only got this item because my set did not include a 12 inch skillet. My 10 inch has about 8 inches of surface to heat. The 12 inch has under 6 inches. I did not order a wok nor did i ever want one.

Disappointed!
This is called an Essentials Pan but when it arrived and I looked at the packing slip, they call it a Covered Stir Fry pan! Why does this company not sell larger than 10 inch, flat skillets but just deep, sloped sides with a tiny cooking surface? I wanted a larger pan to make more than 4 pancakes at a time or cook a larger meal and this pan won't do that. The quality of the pan and lid still seem good, as with the other products I have gotten, just disappointed with how they advertised it.

Truly a non-stick pan
I used it in normal daily cooking. Eggs, pasta sauce, cheese all wipe right off the circulon symmetry hard-anodized non stick, 12in covered pan, with ease. This is the first pan in my experience that is non-stick. The fact that you can use it in the oven is an added bonus. The only thing I can say negatively is the pan is heavy, add food in pan makes it even heavier. I would recommend adding a small handle on the opposite side of the current handle, to make balancing much easier...

My new favorite pan
Where do I start, first this pan is beautiful in design and color though I am bias because purple is my favorite color and this Merlot is very nice purple shade. I love that it can be used for so many things. It isn't advertised as a wok but it works great as one because of the shape and the non-stick surface. I have also fried chicken fingers and they came out so beautiful and crispy as if they were deep fried. I really love this pan and recommend it 100 percent!

Great pan
I am so Impressed by this pan. The non stick pan makes it easy to cook and sautéed food without h sing to worry about it sticking. I recently made a chicken stir fry and at the end the pan looked as if nothing had been cooked in it. Clean up was so easy! I love the merlot color and it is a nice touch to my kitchen.

An awesome pan!
I am loving my new pan! It is a larger skillet style pan. I have made everything from omelets to stir fry in this pan. It is very durable and can take quite a bit of cooking. Easy to clean. I am definitely looking forward to buying more pans from them!
