I am disappointed with this watch

nice watch however stopped working after 1 yr. I am not sure why. repair shops wants 50 to inspect and 100min to clean and replace battery if that is the problem...

Looks great! Inconvenient date-setting.

This watch is absolutely gorgeous! However, the green is a bit darker than shown, so the contrast is slightly less apparent. Also the knob on the side to change the date/time only has one notch, meaning you set both date and time via the same turning. This led to me having to spend 40 minutes to an hour going through all the days minute-by-minute until I reached the correct date. Remember this watch is set for 31 days, meaning you will have to manually skip the 31st day for months such as june.

Younger person yes. Senior not so much.

I bought this watch for my father, thinking it would be a great watch for him. My pop on the other hand, wasn't crazy about it. He felt the dial/case was to large, the date window was to small for him to make out, and he didn't like not being able to easily set it like his old watch. Plus the solar battery aspect, made him skeptical of it's longevity. We had to download the owner's manual from their website. Maybe not a good choice for senior citizens. I on the other hand, thought the watch was beautiful. The face is a gorgeous color and the number markings are easy to read. The band is a beautiful silver metal and could easily be adjusted by the store or any jeweler. I think it's great watch at a great price.
