Good watch other than the day/ date display

Nice watch, received this week and it keeps "perfect" time. My only complaint is the day / date display. IS too DULL and difficult to read even in light indoors. Wish it were brighter, maybe same brightness as hands or the numerical indicators in the watch. Would be a massive, big help especially for senior citizen eyes.
