Velcro Ankle Straps are Game Changers

Wow, where to begin? Beautiful, comfortable shoes. Perfect heel to give height without foot pain. The leather is soft and buttery - there is zero stiffness across the top of the foot. The best design feature, especially for us girlies with bigger ankles…the ankle strap is Velcro!! No straining, tightness, or punching holes. I’m amazed at the comfort of these, literally 10/10. There are no design or material deficiencies. Truly a great shoe. I bought them in wide because I didn’t want to take a chance in the event the upper leather straps were stiff (read: too tight and therefore pain-inducing), but happy to say I didn’t need to. They're a little loose because of the extra width but the Velcro strap is secure and the shoe bed is stable. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and take the chance. You’ll be happy you did. For those who care, I’m a size 8.5-9, ordered size 9. They’re a smidge too big but I’ll attribute that to my ordering the wide width. It wasn’t needed.
