Do not purchase

The top unzips and leavea the mattress fully exposed. Bed bug covers shouls be put on and NEVER removed. How does this protect against bed bugs and allergens, etc., when the mattress is fully exposed? Invest in a regular bed bug protector and allergen protector and place a mattress cover on top. Plus they dont sell the top by itself so you cant put another one on when you wash the top unless you want to buy more than one protector.

Great cover

This cover is great! Got a queen sized one as a sample when I worked at hotels. We have 2 black labs that have bad allergies and this was a life saver for them. The cotton top is a nice feature too it's not that vinyl like fabric.

Not deep enough

Recently purchased a new mattress and wanted to protect it with Allerease. I've had great experience with them previously and great protection. This protector is well made. It's comfortable and the zip off top is great. The problem is they are created for only up to 17 inch mattresses. My new mattress is 17.5 inches and the pillow top is crammed in to fit. That doesn't give the mattress enough room to adjust though. I will have to return it. It would be great if Allerease has a 2 inch 'extender' to zip onto the existing encasement and then zip the top to that!

Great

AllerEase Platinum Mattress Protector is amazing! It is soft and comfortable. A little tricky to get on with just one person but it fit perfectly. I love the fact that it zips on so it doesn't slip. Overall it's awesome!
