Not Happy
Stick to down alternative materials instead. Down alternatives seem to have much better variety, much easier care and overall feel.
Cannot stop bying this product.
The last Carter Club Comforter I got is Level 2 Vail a month ago, ,so so perfect for this spring time in Michigan. The reason is I own 6 comforters Carter club Vail collection in total, different levels, I got first three 2009 or 2010. Never had or have a problem with them but I always keep them in the duvet covers. No feathers out or clumps. You will not regret it, believe me, I'm picky :). It's not heavy, breathable, Clean and elegant.
Best down comforter!
We live in Ohio and this is the best down comforter in the world! So soft and comfortable and light and fluffy! We looked at multiple different comforters and this is by far the best one at the best price! Like other reviewers have said - makes you want to stay in bed and not get out! ;)
OMG I LOVE this comforter...
Let me preface this by saying I'm rather picky. I'm not the easiest to please. I tried a couple of down alternatives but they didn't have that light airy cloud-like feeling that only a true down comforter has. I live in Florida, and I planned on using this year-round (yes, I'm a little nuts I know), so I needed one that was lightweight and not too warm. I first leaned towards the same as this one, but a level 1 or "ultra lightweight", but I saw both in the store and that one was a little too flat. I wanted that cloud-like feeling. It's light enough that I can use it in the summer but it's heavy enough that it's perfect for Florida winters too. Now, I do have to turn my thermostat down a little in order to use it and be comfortable, but boy is it worth it to sleep in this slice of heaven!! I don't want to get out of bed in the morning and when I do I just want to crawl back in every second I get- it's that comfy. Now one thing to note, because it's not the most expensive down comforter I'm sure the quality of down isn't as high as a more expensive product. If you lift this up with light behind it, you can see the dark (almost look dirty, I hate to say) feathers and down. It's not just down, you can actually see whole feathers in there also. Doesn't bother me a bit, but just so you're aware... :) Also, the thread count on the comforter doesn't feel as soft as the Hotel Collection siberian goose down comforters, but this doesn't bother me either as I have a duvet on it. Also, it does make a tad bit of "crinkling" sound. Again, the absolute serenity provided by this slice of heaven trumps any of those factors, but I just wanted to mention them...
I'd say elite
Looks beautiful. Feels fantastic. Perfect temperature. I needed to replace my old one. It is so lightweight. I did a lot of research. This is made by downlite which has an alliance with Macys. Perfection at level 2. The real deal! Thanks for the quality Macys!
Thanks
Great and fantástic. It is totaly succesfulnto buy in Macys. Thanks
Not lightweight
I have owned Charter Club down comforters in the past and decided to get another one. Purchased this because it was lightweight. It is not lightweight. Just like another reviewer mentioned, it is definitely bulkier than in the past. It is too hot to use and I live in Ohio. I am disappointed because it was a costly purchase and I cannot return now because we used it. It is a nice comforter if you want a extra warmth comforter, but not if you want lightweight.
disappointed so far
I have owned several charter club comforters. My current one is 8 years old and I decided to replace it. I tried the charter club down alternative but it made me sweat and felt horrible. Decided to stick with the same kind I have and purchased this one. It is not the same and somehow feels heavier, more bulky, and less comfy if you like to scrunch. Also this comforter did not fit in my duvet cover so had to purchase larger charter club duvet cover which turned out to be stiff and scratchy and added to my dislike of this comforter. Have reverted back to 8 year old charter club comforter for the moment and am sleeping way better.
