No More Overweight Suitcases For Us

We already had one of these Delsey Shadow 5 suitcases and loved it. When we wanted to replace a different suitcase, this was the case we looked at. After comparing it to other brands, we again chose Delsey. Everything about the suitcase is what we were looking for, but the outstanding feature for us is the handle on the side. When the suitcase is packed and you lift it by that handle, you can tell if the suitcase is overweight. A red line appears in a little window on the side of the handle and indicates if it is overweight. It has saved us time and money when we are flying. We have not had to pay excess weight charges or be one of the people who are shuffling clothes from one suitcase to since we have had our first Delsey suitcase.

Do not buy

Please don’t purchase these luggage pieces because it is not a good quality. The handle broke and the inside of the luggage began to unravel and when I tried to return it to the store they gave me a really hard time. Please be aware.

Poorly packaged for such a quality item

I bought this and the 5.0 carry on. This item was shipped to me in an open box with no wrapping around the suitcase itself. The carry on was thoroughly packaged to protect the case. This item arrived opened and and with some minor scuffs on account of poor packaging.

Cheap and Flimsy

I bought the entire set. The color is absolutely stunning and that is about the only positive. The small carryon was damaged with a nick and scratches so I had to exchange it. The backpack is very thin and ripped. The suitcases are very flimsy and hard to maneuver. They have no interior pockets. First use the interior zipper separated from the mess and the exterior zippers and difficult to zip and unzip. The wheels are too busy. I fell backwards on a escalator due to malfunction of the wheels. I plan on returning the entire set and starting all over. Very Disappointed. I really wanted to love.this set.

Delsey Paris luggage is excellent product which has got nice appearance and excellent tires.

Large suitcase with good wheels

I had a 21” carry on that I liked so I purchased the big suitcase to match. The outer shell seems thick enough. Built in locks, study zippers. Wish it had a better inside pouch for pills.
