Worked great... until it didn't!

This vacuum worked great for a while. Granted, I've had it for almost 2 years, but I only used it MAYBE a dozen times. I went to use it today, and the suction function no longer works. I had sprinkled carpet cleaning powder all over the bedrooms upstairs (including my infant son's room) and as it turns out, my vacuum wasn't even functioning to pick it up. I knew the suction feature wasn't working because after sprinkling an entire box of power onto the carpets, there was maybe a total of 3-4 tsp. of powder in the filter of the vacuum. I'm very VERY disappointed that such an expensive vacuum stopped working after so few uses.

Great compact vaccuum!

I purchased this DC50 because we gave our DC14 to my mom. This is the perfect vacuum for a small house although it is powerful enough to vacuum a larger house too. I absolutely love the convenience of being able to just push a button to release the waste container! There is also a release button for the hose that makes it easy to attach the tool.

First vacuum, best vacuum

My fiance and I just moved into our apartment and needed to buy a vacuum. My parents got us this vacuum and it is the absolute best! We have a dog, and this vacuum makes it seem like she doesn't even live with us. It's lightweight, the only down side to that is having to empty the canister a little more frequently. Otherwise, it's super easy to set up, use, and move! Love love love! Definitely recommend it to others and would buy it again if I had to.

The best purchase!!

I've been a macys customer for four years now, and by far this is the best way I've spent my hard earn money! This vacuum has changed my life! Best way to clean my carpet and everything else. I love it and it's perfect for my small apartment. I will highly suggest buying a dyson vacuum! They simply know how to make a vacuum work magic!!!

Best Vacuum Investment

Perfect for an apartment. Definitely controls pet hair! Completely worth every penny. I would not buy anything outside of a Dyson Vacuum. You wont be disappointed.

Best Investment Ever

I was mildly skeptical of the reviews for this vacuum before I purchased it... I mean, "cuts vacuuming time in half!" How can that be true? But people were NOT exaggerating when they raved over this vacuum. I used to HATE this chore and put it off, but vacuuming is SO easy now I get my whole house done in 15 minutes. GET THIS VACUUM, IT IS LIFE.

Dyson vacuums are the best

We love using our Dyson vacuum. This is my second one I own. They are so awesome. This one is really good at piking up animal hair. Easy to use. Easy to put together. So light that you don't mind vacuuming
