Don't waste your money
I am a luggage aficionado, and I was SO EXCITED to get smart luggage. This looked like such a great set with Bluetooth, etc. The small bag is so small that you won't be able to fit an entire days worth of items in it, much less anything else. The plastic was cheap. It scratched if you looked at it wrong. It didn't work at all when I received it. Not one single feature of the smart part of smart luggage worked. I tried calling Heys customer service, thinking perhaps they could help me out. Not one single answer, not one single returned call. I emailed. Nothing. I took it back to Macy's immediately. I was livid over how it didn't work at all and Heys didn't stand behind it at all. If it were possible to leave less than one star, I would.
A FANTASTIC LUGGAGE
I bought the medium size silver. I travelled internationally (on different airlines) with it without much scratches. Initially the application was not found but with e-mail correspondences the app was available on google play. But again by the time it was available I was in UK, which was only two days after. I downloaded it, but was only available for use in the USA. So again I had to ask that it be made available internationally as I was in Africa within 4-days of my purchase of the luggage. Consequently, a world-wide app for google play was created and in minutes I had it opening, locking giving weight of the luggage after setting up the password and ID. After I changed my phone, I simply downloaded the App from the google play, inputted my ID and password and the functions with the luggage happened automatically from my new handset. I am in the market for the luggage again unfortunately as a visitor my card could not order online and in-store delivery is not available.
