CLOSEOUT! Supima Cotton 825-Thread Count King Fitted Sheet, Created for Macy's
Product Details
Web ID: 4887628The ultimate crisp cotton fitted sheet
I hope Macy's does not discontinue this line. The 825 thread count Hotel brand is the best quality sturdy cotton sheet around. It is a little heavier than most, but that's a good thing if you like a solid well made sheet. If you know what this means, you know what I'm talking about: It has the right SOUND when it moves. You either get this or you don't. Don't be discouraged by the sheet as it is packaged. Once you wash it, that sateen sheen goes away.

Quality of Hotel Collection has Gone Down
After only 6 months of light usage (in a second home), a hole ripped in the corner when I was making the bed. I have owned other Hotel Collection sheets that have lasted for years. I would expect a sheet to last more than 6 months.
Hotel 825 Thread Count sheets
I have been enjoying Hotel Collection sheets for many years. Both the 680 and 825 count have been wonderful. However, the new sheets I purchase are very different now and unacceptable. The bottom sheet is oversized and does not fit the King size bed correctly and move around a lot. The top sheet is equally large but not an issue. The major flaw is that the sheets are not soft and comfortable, they are very heavy and fell like rubber. I plan to throw them away, they are so bad! They must have changed the type and quality of cotton. I am very very surprised that Macy's would place these in their Hotel Collection. I wish I could return them all.
Not as described
I paid a premium for this sheet because I did not want sateen . Nowhere in the description did it mention sateen . When I opened the package and placed it in the bed lo and behold it was sateen . I’m looking for 100% cotton Macy’s so please don’t deceive me by trying to sell off sateen just because nobody buys sateen anymore. Very disappointed.
Luxurious feel
Very substantial, great quality sheets. Thick, satiny feel. So far holds up well after a few washings. So far we have purchased two king sets and I had just bought a third set with the added savings through current sale. The first set I bought included extra deep fitted sheet. I was very pleased with the workmanship/construction, as the seams at the corners were reinforced with extra cover on the seams. The deep pockets were too long for our mattress so I purchased just the regular fitted sheet, which had poor/flimsy construction at the corner seems that I didn't care for. The seems were like the low-end brands with just one line of surging stitches. They were not reinforced like the deep-pocket fitted sheets. Needless to say, I purchased the deep-pocket again for my third set. Note: the unreinforced regular fitted were made from a different country than the higher quality deep-pocket. I hope Macy's is taking note of this.
Worst fitted sheet ever
Bought this set because I wanted the best. I thought spending more money meant better quality. Wrong! The material is so slippery that it won't stay on the mattress. I have a mattress pad on the mattress (from Macys) and the sheet is off the top of the bed every morning. The elastic is not tight enough either. I even bought the elastic straps to add to try to make it work and it didn't help much. Tried to explain the problem to customer service and they said that since I used the sheet, I could not return it. Ha! How would I know it didn't work unless I used it? I would have thought Macy's would stand behind their products more than this.

Best sheets ever!
Don't waste your money on high count sheets on unbelievable sales....During the holidays I purchased sets for everyone in our family. I couldn't have been more embarrassed.... after a few times of washing ours I noticed the knots & pulls. The Hotel Collection Supima Cotton 825 count is far more comfortable and much better quality.
Nice Sheet
I only use hotel brand sheets from Macy’s. I am super sensitive to fabrics, and must use 100% cotton only. My original favorite was the 800 Egyptian cotton. Not only did they stop making it, the last few years each one I bought had to be returned due to being very scratchy. So I purchased this and it is very nice. The reason I gave only 4 stars is because I had to call and have the first three they sent me replaced. One, because it came with bleach stains as well a a strong chemical smell, the second for having a hair in the package and the third for once again a strong chemical smell. The fourth seams to be ok, feels soft and smooth. I will update my review after I wash and use the sheet.
