These are beautiful salt and pepper grinders. After years of buying bargain ones, I decided to buy a nice set. The reviewer that said they are hard to fill, it's really easy to fill them if you set it inside a drinking glass and then it will hold upright while you fill them. My disappointment is the bottom of the unit where you fill it from. It needs to have some sort of rubber gasket because the salt and pepper dust leaks from them. I bought the upright ones so I would not get salt and pepper dust everywhere like the cheap ones, but these leak even when you're grinding salt and pepper. For this price they should fix this design flaw and have the bottom cap fit better. I've used these and didn't save the box so I'm stuck with them. Do not buy these.

This beautiful. quality set is a perfect addition to my stainless kitchen. They are so easy to fill and grind with ease. An added bonus is the easy adjustable settings. I guess you get what you pay for!

Have been having trouble twisting my disposable pepper and salt/garlic grinders (plus not very green to toss when empty). I liked the size of these and the sale price was fab BUT the top of the grinders are not flat. You remove a cap and refill them from the bottom but with the curvy top they will not stand on the counter. If you have 3 hands you will have no trouble refilling these.
