Terrific product and not just for in the water

These shorts are great for in the water but also just around the house, in the yard, playing golf, etc. I have about 6 or 7 pairs and love them all.

These shorts are all I wear in the summer, have many pairs, different colors. Needed another pair of black ones to replace a worn pair .

Wear These Everyday

Love these shorts. Since I retired 6 years ago, I wear shorts from March to December in Nebraska, then January and February in Florida. Out of 365 days, I wear these 350. They fit well and they look great. I WEAR NO OTHER SHORTS. My only complaint is that the netting wears out before the shorts do.

best summer shorts

My go to summer shorts. I have 3 pair for hiking biking swimming they are great. And they looik nice enough as shorts to go from the beach into town etc.

No Phone Pocket

I bought Backcast III in the past and it had a phone pocket - the Backcast IV does not and I am very disappointed. Last year I contacted Columbia and asked them to make the phone pocket larger - I guess they just eliminated it. They should let people know there is no phone pocket.

Highly recommend

Great swim shorts. Ample pockets for phone , wallet, etc. Nice material. In case Columbia is reading, I would like them better with a fly front, but I knew these didn’t have it when I bought them.
