Quickly falling apart

I’ve always worn converse and I’ve had the 70s and the all stars plenty. I got a pair of custom all stars just a couple months ago and within a month of everyday use the rubber sides had peeled away from the shoe and made it impossible to wear them when the ground was even slightly wet because my socks and feet would get soaked. It’s disappointing as I’ve stuck by converse for a very long time but can’t keep replacing the if they are going to fall apart so quickly like this.

Still iconic, but much lighter

Finally replaced my converse from high school (13 year old and still functioning) with this pair. Still such an iconic shoe made with quality canvas. I do have to note that this new pair (2026) are significantly lighter and the rubber sole seems thinner… we’ll see if these last as long!

Hope the stay this sturdy and rigid

The fabric of shoe is thick and I’m hoping it doesn’t get all flimsy eventually, like the last one I got and I hope the laces don’t get all twisted up. Hoping there is upgrades in CT design. Hope the outsoles don’t start detaching from bed like the last one I had. They are very comfortable, the best shoes for working out lifting weights.

Poor quality

Yall- I had a pair of converse I got in 2015 and wore them without any issue until last year. Last March I bought another pair (it was time) and these started tearing witching SIX MONTHS!! Not the quality they used to be I fear. Very disappointing.
