Completely disappointed

Perhaps I wasn't meant to heat water with the pasta insert. I had the pot on the stove for over 30 minutes and it didn't come to a boil. I had to remove the water in the pot and cook pasta in 2 separate other pots. Terrible. I have an induction cooktop and perhaps this isn't meant for it. I threw out the box so I cannot verify what the manufacturer states. In my other pots, water comes to a boil in less than 10 minutes.
