Terrible for spaghetti

This pan is great if you're boiling something without the strainer. The steamer basket is also good. My issue is with the strainer. I was excited to use it for spaghetti so I wouldn't have to strain it in the sink. The problem is the water boils up through the side of the pan between the strainer and leaks all over the stove making a huge mess. I tried using less water and also the lid but every time it was a mess .

Great Pasta Pot

Very nice pasta/steamer pot. It's a great value and a very versatile cooking pot. I would like to say that the review that mentioned mushy pasta obviously overcooked it. Pans don't cause mushy pasta. LOL

Cooks great

I really like the 4 Piece 8 Quart Pasta Cooker Steamer Multipots, Stainless Steel. I love that you can strain your noodles right out of the pot. It cooks the noodles very well. They are also a nice and thick stainless steel.

Awesome Pasta/Steamer Pots..

I am overjoyed by these pots. First and foremost we all know how frustrating it can be when boiling pasta and then having to pour the pasta into a strainer then rinse the pot out then put pasta back into the pot. I no longer have to deal with that anymore! I cook my pasta, then carry to the sink pull the pot out with my noodles in it and pour the water out after or later. Now when it comes to steaming veggies & seafood talk about amazing. Veggies come out so tender and perfect, I like a little crisp to some of my veggies like green beans and its perfection. For the seafood whether its fish or shrimp etc just put in the half pot insert and fill the full pot with water just below the half insert. Put the half pot insert in once water begins to boil put top on and let the steam cook your meat. So far I have cooked fish, shrimp & lobster and all have come out super juicy and the flavor is so much better than boiling directly in water. I am very pleased and definitely recommend!!

I love this steamer set not only can you do pasta but you can do crabs shrimp and veggies the top steamer is also interchangeable with someof my existing smaller pots i love it works well and is easy to use and clean

Cooks pasta well.

Used the pasta cooker tonight. Overall, cooked pasta throughly, however at the end, it was a little mushy. Extremely easy to clean and store. I really liked that I could strain the water in the pot instead of over the sink. Even though it’s stainless steel, the handles of the pot didn’t get too hot. I can’t wait to use the steamer feature for vegetables as well. This pot is a great addition to the kitchen.

Love for pasta

I love this set of pots. It is multiuse so I can make pasta or steam veggies and seafood. I love the convenience of being able to pull the strainer out and dump the pot, it’s less heavy and would be easy for anyone to use. They are easy to clean.
