Package shipping at its worst
I was so looking forward to this purchase. Whoever packed this item for shipping needs more training. Bottom of box already coming open. Item packed loosely in box. Basically a few pieces of paper wrapped for protection of the dish. Received chipped and cracked. Tried to exchange for another, but out of stock now.

Must do a better job in packing!
So I read the reviews about this arriving broken...but I said I'll give it a shot and try for myself. I was wrong...and the reviewers were right. As you can see, my order arrived broken. I love Macy's products and I love ordering from them, but you MUST do a better job in packing items like Corningware, so that they arrive to the customer unbroken. Styrofoam or something...but this is not acceptable. Only one sheet of bubble wrap. I could've cut myself trying to open the plastic. If you do not want to invest the money to properly and SAFELY ship these easily breakable items, please keep them available in the stores for customers to purchase. Needless to say, this is being returned promptly....in the broken state that it arrived to me, and I'm very disappointed. One star only because I have to enter something here!

I read a previous review on this product that had arrived broken. Sadly, mine was shipped the same. It was barely wrapped with protection and the box was half empty, allowing the items to move around in the box to the point of breaking. I'm going to order a replacement. I hope it arrives safely.

It was poorly wrapped. Not enough protection. Just a little bit of bubble wrap and wrapped in paper. It was loose in the box. I won't order another one. Packing people need to be trained properly...

My Aunt bought me this Corningware Set as a first apt housewarming gift. and said every kitchen must have one. 30 years later, and she was absolutely right. I had to replace my 2.5 oval because it is so useful! perfect size and shape for anything. I read the reviews about bad packaging and having it arrive broken; but had to take a chance. I did reach out to CS and asked them to read the reviews and correct the packaging. They Actually did, and casserole was in perfect condition at the store pickup. Thanks Macy's.
