So far, so good

I used this mat to cut faux leather earrings. The leather is very thin. I’m curious how this will go with heavier material and how long the mat will last.

Great product

I bought this to replace the one that got cut. I tried to buy a cheaper brand and it just did not work as well as the cricut brand. I should have known better. Love cricut brand.

Strong grip mat

I recently ordered and just used my new strong grip mat and was disappointed in the adhesive. It seemed less sticky than the standard grip mat and not near as sticky as my other strong grip mats. I was cutting faux leather that was taped down on all sides and my design wouldn't stick as it was being but. I ruined several pieces of leather. I hope this was just a mistake in manufacturing and not a change in the adhesive going forward for this mat.

Not sticky at all

I have used these mats and you get maybe two cuts out of them before nothing sticks anymore. I am using them to cut leather shiny side down and they aren’t working paste the second cut, luckily I keep my old mats for other things and have cleaned the old style and they will become sticky again and allow me to cut the leather I need. Poor design decision/marketing or whatever it is that y’all have done with these mats!!! And to boot they are expensive in craft stores because heaven forbid you get your order when you need it!!!

Purple Awesomeness

So I didn’t order a bundle, my machine came with only a blue mat & pen! So I had to buy all my accessories & materials to get started! In all honesty I was a bit overwhelmed by prices, & worried bc the cost of everything does add up; and quick! But I knew I would regret not getting every type of mat since obviously they’re 1 of the main components to any cricut! & I can’t say how happy I am with this mat! I bought this mat about 4-5 months ago, & yes I use it at least 3-4 times a week, at least! Mostly with faux & genuine leather! 1 mistake I will mention is that I used suede on 1 & the mess it left was plain ridiculous! BUT it did cut it so beautiful, so I can’t honestly complain! I’m a bit frugal so I do take it easy on my mats! If pieces stay stuck to my mat- I don’t wash them! I actually wrap a strong piece of tape around my hand- sticky side facing out of course.... & go over it slowly so that the tape can attach to the pieces and slowly but surly my mat is perfect! It does take some time but shoot it’s worth it! If my maker & air 2 does all the work for me; & without complaining, shouldn’t I be able to do the same! ;) Everything can’t be made as simple as our machines have made it for us! Put your work in, it’s worth it! Well that’s just my thought anyways! ;) #itslife

Strong grip mat

I tried to use a softer faux leather (leather side down not the fuzzy side) with this mat and it would not stick at all. The mat was brand new and it was like it had nothing to stick to. I wasted my money on this mat for sure!!!
