original granddaddy
I got this crock pot ages ago, I'm sure it's one of the original granddaddy, and it served me well every other day for long back as my 30 year old son can remember....never let me down. Only reason I have to replace it is because my mother with Alzheimer's Disease washed the Stainless Steel cooking part. Off to Canadian Tire to replace it.

Cracked crock
We've had this for a while. Suddenly, the crock cracked and started leaking. I expect better quality from this.

Hello, Mulch1! We apologize for the inconvenience that the Crock-Pot® 6Qt. Oval Countdown Programmable Slow Cooker, Polished Stainless has caused you. You may need to reset your slow cooker. Burning Plastic Smell
Just bought this cooker. Noticed a burning plastic smell in my kitchen and found out it is the cooker. No smoke is coming out of it. Turned it on high for a while to see if I can burn off the smell but it still stinks too badly to use. I'm not looking to ruin a roast with whatever is coming out of it. Sadly, I'm going to have to return it.

Not impressed
I am not impressed - flimsy and cheap - took 1 hr to heat up (on high). The outer sides were boiling hot (dangerously hot) cover doesn’t seal - i regret my purchase.

Hello! On your slow cooker, both High and Low stabilize at the same temperature 209°F; it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point. On High, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas, on Low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. Due to the proximity between the heating element and the exterior of our slow cookers, it is normal for them to get quite hot on the outside. Therefore, on both the outside of the unit and in the product's instruction manual we recommend using a hot pad if you need to touch the unit during cooking. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us via https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am -5pm Eastern Time. Thank you!
