It's easy
I was worried it'd be complicated, but after using it twice I got it down pat. It's easy to clean and makes a little ice cream. Perfect.

I can make fat free Fro-Yo 1-2 servings.
Excellent for small batch. I bought it to make Fro-yo. Fat free and I can have dessert guilt free within minutes. 1-2 servings

No ice cream
Was disappointed. Even with cold ingredients and freezer bowls frozen for several days, the mixture would not freeze. The machine works perfectly but no ice cream was made. We ended up just pouring the ice cream mixture into freezer containers and putting them directly into the freezer.

A Surprisingly Good Little Ice Cream Maker
This is an amazing little appliance. My wife saw a different brand of ice cream maker on-line on sale. But, it seemed overly complicated and had some issues with durability. Anyway, we started looking at other brands and found the Cuisinart line. They have good reviews and ratings. When we found this 1 pint version for sale for less than half MSRP, we decided to try it without investing a lot of money. Long story short, it makes the most delicious ice cream without all the artificial ingredients and other additives. The Cuisinart recipes are very simple to make, with only a few ingredients. We have even experimented with great results. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that, unlike the larger models where ingredients are added through a hole in the top, this small one has a small funnel-like opening in the side. It is not especially easy to add ingredients and some tend to collect there or around the top of the freezer bowl. If you're looking for a counter-top electric ice cream maker, I heartily recommend the Cuisinart brand, just get one of the larger units.

Great ice cream maker for two
This ice cream maker is solidly built and easy to use with a bit of advance preparation required. It makes a perfect amount for two people. Our first batch made a creamy, delicious ice cream. It was a bit soft but still adequately frozen for immediate consumption. We froze some of the leftover ice cream and it firmed up nicely for later use.
