Works well. Slightly midinforming picture, though on its box- this is NOT a vertical wsfflemaker which cost twice as much.

Mister waffle maker
Wanted a waffle maker. It does get pretty warm to hot on counter top. So its very smart to put something under to protect surface. I have man made quartz counter tops..so i use a thick cutting board under waffle maker or any of my countertop cooking appliances. It made excellent waffle 🧇. It was on sale when i bought on line. Im very pleased woth purchase. It stores away very easy also. Its a nice appliance. Well made.

Solid choice
Successfully replaced a legacy waffle iron. Stores well, like the switchable plates

Finally—A Waffle Maker That Does It All
I wanted a waffle maker with removable plates, adjustable temperature for crispy waffles, and a beep alert rather than just a light. This one checks all the boxes.
Save your money
Waffle iron seems to be be built well and I appreciate the removable plates which simplifies cleaning. However, the iron doesn’t cook waffles very well which defeats the entire purpose and outweighs any other benefits. After waiting for the iron to preheat, the first waffle came out white and soft set at a 4 out of 5 on the brown dial. The next waffle was only slightly better with the dial all the way up to a 5. The third waffle, I left in for 3 minutes after the audible alert that the waffle was done cooking and it was almost brown and slightly crispy. The alert is worthless.

Worked until it didn't
I was incredibly excited to get this waffle maker. I wanted the option to make both American and Belgium. I made waffles 8 different days - 3 American and 5 Belgium. The first five were almost flawless. I needed to cook the Belgium version about an extra minute to make them as dark as I preferred. And then, just like with some other reviewers, the waffles stuck to both the top and the bottom the plates, splitting the waffle in half. I had to peel and pry (with a silicone spatula and my fingers) it off of the plates. I tried everything - using cooking spray and not using spray. Note the first 5 successful ones were without spray. I tired preheating the maker longer. I tried chilling the batter to make it thicker. I tired cooking the waffles beyond the beep. (I was able to try many versions because each time that I made waffles, I had enough batter to make 2-3 waffles) I'm planning to call Cuisinart tomorrow to discuss returning it. I bought it less than a month ago.
