This is the worst pot I have ever bought from cuisinart. It is very light and not good for cooking. Everything will be burnt in a heartbeat. This company ought to look into better product. I have bought quite a lot of pots and pans from cuisinart in the past. This is not acceptable at all.

We recommend using medium or low heat when cooking with stainless steel cookware and adding more oil or butter as it prevents food from sticking and/or burning and ensures more even cooking. Cuisinart
